IMSCAD delivers MxGPU Hardware based virtualization for AMD at Citrix Synergy 2017

AMD announced Xenserver  support for their Radeon™ Pro MxGPU  (multiuser GPU) at Citrix synergy 2017 and were able to showcase the technology during live sessions on their stand at the event accessing virtual desktops delivered by IMSCAD from the cloud.

As a preferred AMD technology partner IMSCAD were delighted to deliver an end to end VDI solution running in the cloud from our New York datacentre. Utilising HPE ProLiant DL380 kit with AMD’s FirePro™ S7150x2 GPUs IMSCAD were able to provide AMD with the platform required to showcase Radeon™ Pro MxGPU hardware based virtualization in their first public demonstration of the technology with Citrix Xenserver 7.2.

The solution delivered by IMSCAD highlighted the power that a cloud based deployment can offer by delivering the much-needed performance required by graphical applications from our Datacentre in New York to AMDs stand at Synergy in Orlando……. Over a thousand miles away!

“The demo was awesome!   The complete capabilities of Autodesk apps, Revit, Inventor and AutoCAD were shown off with our AMD FirePro S7150x2 card in an HPE ProLiant DL380 server from IMSCAD’s New York datacentre.  Running on Citrix XenServer 7.2, our MxGPU delivered full workstation class performance while being shared four users per GPU”

IMSCAD support IBM Cloud at GTC 2016 Amsterdam

IMSCAD's Adam Jull and Chris Harvey are attending GTC in Amsterdam supporting IBM Cloud. Adam and Chris will be in the in the main Expo hall on Stand G7 presenting live demo's of graphically intensive 3D app's performing from their US Demo servers using IBM Cloud with NVIDIA's Tesla M60.
